Orlando de Lassus Tristis est anima mea
Lassus was one of the greatest composers of the Counter-Reformation, and this is one of his most beautiful motets. A translation of the text is included. A useful work for Double Reed Days, studio recitals, or just to improve sight-reading and intonation.
